Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2025.

(Dan Tri) - The final round of Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 took place in Nha Trang on the evening of June 21 with the participation of 43 contestants. Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh was crowned the highest position.

Opening the program, reigning Miss Bui Xuan Hanh, runner-up Hoang Nhung and the top 43 contestants performed in eye-catching costumes by designer Brian Vo.

The beauties took turns walking the catwalk to vibrant music. The appearance of Miss Bui Xuan Hanh and Runner-up Hoang Nhung received enthusiastic cheers from a large audience. Many contestants were bright faces, attracting attention thanks to their professional skills and beautiful choreography in front of the camera.

The invested stage combined with a spectacular fireworks display created an impressive opening atmosphere for the final night of Miss Universe Vietnam 2025.

Right after the opening introduction, the organizers announced the top 20 contestants entering the swimsuit competition. The list included bright faces, prominent from the beginning of the competition such as: Thuy Vi, Thuy Tien, Minh Nhan, Kim Ngan, Phuong Linh, Cam Ly...

After the announcement of the top 20, the final night welcomed the presence of the international Miss Cosmo team. Ten beauties wearing ao dai by designer Trung Dinh, walked out to the applause of the Vietnamese audience.

International beauty queens expressed their joy while watching the Miss Universe Vietnam final. Ketut Permata Juliastrid, Miss Cosmo 2024 and member of the jury, praised the maturity of the contestants after the competition journey.

For the contestants who did not make it into the top 20, the beauty queen said that this was not a failure and that they still had many other opportunities in life. For the contestants who advanced further, she advised them to stay calm and honest to overcome the next rounds.

The final atmosphere was heated up with the top 20's brilliant bikini performance. With the vibrant music of Kho Chieu performed by singer Dong Nhi, the contestants took turns stepping onto the stage, showing off their hot bodies and youthful energy.

Many contestants showed confidence with their sexy bodies and stage presence in their professional posing with scarves.

Continuing the program, the organizing committee announced the results of the top 10 Miss Universe Vietnam 2025, including: Kim Ngan, Mai Anh, Cam Ly, Thuy Tien, Phuong Linh, Thu Hoa, Minh Nhan, Hue Anh, Thuy Vi, My Hai.

Singer Bui Lan Huong performed Carmen in collaboration with the Buoc Nhay dance group. She captivated the audience with her enchanting voice, radiant beauty and graceful dance moves.

In the near future, Bui Lan Huong will also be one of the artists participating in the concert "Brilliant New Day" on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Dan Tri electronic newspaper .

After Bui Lan Huong’s performance, the top 10 contestants entered the evening gown competition. The contestants wore mermaid dresses and slit dresses with sparkling embellishments, showing off their seductive curves and proud demeanor.

After the evening gown performance, the list of 5 contestants entering the official behavioral round was announced, including: Minh Nhan, Cam Ly, Thuy Vi, Kim Ngan, Phuong Linh. These are all outstanding contestants, loved by the audience from the beginning of the competition. The audience rated the quality of the top 5 as even, with equal talent and strength.

Entering the top 5 behavioral round, each contestant draws a question and has a certain amount of time to give their answer. If answering in Vietnamese, the contestant has 60 seconds, if answering bilingually, the contestant has 90 seconds to complete the round.

Contestant Minh Nhan received a question about the song Continue the story of peace and the inspiration of the new generation of young people. Do Cam Ly received a behavioral question about her own source of light and how each person shines in today's era.

Contestant Kim Ngan received a question about the issue of merging administrative units. She answered hesitantly, not convincingly completing the test. Meanwhile, contestant Phuong Linh answered a question about the era of rising up. She said that in the new era of the country, women can not only accompany but also take on the role of leading the development of society.

As a result, Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh and Do Cam Ly are the faces that are closer to the title of Miss Universe Vietnam 2025. In the final round, both debated, shared their plans and projects, then demonstrated their critical thinking ability.

Before the final night ended, reigning Miss Bui Xuan Hanh took her final steps of her term. She emotionally expressed her gratitude for the journey she had gone through and the lessons she had learned. "After all, I have never regretted it," said Bui Xuan Hanh.

The most exciting moment was the announcement of the winner and runner-up. As a result, the title of Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 belonged to Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh and the runner-up was Do Cam Ly.

Winning the title of Miss, Phuong Linh received the crown and a prize worth 300 million VND.

Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh was born in 1999, from Ho Chi Minh City. She is 1.74m tall, with measurements of 87-65-91cm. She graduated from the University of Washington and currently works at a large corporation.

During the competition, Phuong Linh was highly appreciated for her beauty, presentation and eloquence skills.

Do Cam Ly was born in 2003, is 1.73m tall, and has measurements of 83-61-97cm. She is currently a student majoring in International Relations at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City).

Miss Universe Vietnam has been held since 2008. Previously, the contest had the English name Miss Universe Vietnam and the beauty queens and runners-up won the right to participate in Miss Universe.

From 2024, the organizing unit will no longer hold the copyright to send contestants to the Miss Universe contest. The contest is now called Miss Cosmo Vietnam in English.

Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 kicked off in April. This year's contest has the theme "Hunting the Moon", looking for brave, independent, talented faces who dare to step out of their comfort zone.

Over the past two months, the beauties have participated in many challenges at training camps and sub-competitions.

In the final, the top 43 contestants went through the swimsuit performance, evening gown performance, top 5 behavior and top 2 behavior to choose the winning contestant.

According to the contest rules, the contestant who wins the "Cosmo Social Ambassador Award" will be given a special entry into the top 20; the contestant who wins the "Most Popular Beauty" award through online voting will be entered into the top 10. After 2 rounds of behavior, the organizing committee awarded 2 titles including Miss and 1 runner-up.

Taking on the role of judges at the Miss Universe Vietnam final are MC Quynh Hoa, supermodel Vo Hoang Yen, Miss H'Hen Nie, Miss Nguyen Tran Khanh Van, Miss Ketut Permata Juliastrid and designer Le Thanh Hoa.
