The Miss Cosmo 2025 launch press conference just took place in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of Top 2 Miss Cosmo 2024 - Ketut Permata Juliastrid and Karnruethai Tassabut, beauty queens Phuong Linh, Ngoc Chau, Xuan Hanh, runners-up Cam Ly, Hoang Nhung, Kim Duyen and international representatives.
The Organizing Committee said that this year's competition will take place from mid-November and the final night will be held outdoors at the Creative Park (HCMC) on December 20, gathering more than 80 representatives from countries and territories.
This year’s theme is called Rising Dragon , inspired by the image of the dragon - a symbol of strength and prosperity. Mr. Tran Viet Bao Hoang - CEO of Miss Cosmo shared: “Vietnam is known as the promised land of the green dragon. The image of the dragon this time represents the strength and resilience of the new generation of women”.
The Organizing Committee representative also said that they surveyed Indonesia 3 times and Thailand 4 times before deciding to choose Vietnam and did not rule out the possibility of holding the contest in another country in the future.
Miss Cosmo 2025 promises many new points. The organizers added pickleball and golf to the Sports experience competition, shortened the schedule to ensure the health of the contestants but still maintained cultural and tourism promotion activities in Hue, Lam Dong, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City. Other outstanding activities include: Hello Cosmo from Vietnam, Best of Vietnam, Carnival costume, Green summit , and environmentally friendly fashion competitions.
At the press conference, Miss Ketut Permata Juliastrid impressed with a mashup performance of Into the Cosmo and Girl on Fire , showing off her powerful voice and daringly “undressing”. She shared that Miss Cosmo had helped her become more confident and sent a message to the contestants: “Don’t worry during the competition. Vietnam will be your second home. Focus on your goals and do your best.”

The organizers emphasized that although the contest combines many elements of music, sports, festivals and fashion, the contestants are still the center, other elements play a supporting role, highlighting the personality and talent of each beauty. The organizers also affirmed that English is important but not required, there will be a team of multilingual interpreters to support, including in the debate competition.
The prize for the crowned beauty queen includes a crown, 100,000 USD (more than 2.5 billion VND), an apartment and a car to use during her 1 year in office.
