More than 2,000 electrical devices were repaired free of charge to help people in flood-affected areas stabilize their lives.

After the historic floods caused by storm No. 10, tens of thousands of houses in Ha Giang 1 and Ha Giang 2 wards and Ngoc Duong commune suffered severe property damage, especially essential electrical and electronic equipment in daily life. Joining hands to help people stabilize their lives soon, Tuyen Quang Electronics and Refrigeration Association, Lao Cai Electronics and Refrigeration Association and a group of Ha Giang electronics technicians coordinated to organize the program "Free repair of electrical equipment for people in flooded areas".

From October 4th to 12th, 85 skilled technicians directly assisted in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment damaged by water ingress, short circuits, or mud. After nearly 10 days of implementation, the program completed over 2,000 free repairs, mobilizing approximately 200 man-days of labor.

The appliances repaired mainly included refrigerators, washing machines, water purifiers, electric stoves, fans, televisions, and many other household electrical appliances. Along with repairs, technicians also instructed residents on how to inspect and safely maintain electrical systems after the flood, avoiding the risk of short circuits, fires, or electrical accidents.

During the project, the volunteer team received enthusiastic support from Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television in arranging locations for equipment repair; Phuc Lam, Tam Giac Mach, and Y Nhi hotels provided free accommodation and meals for the team members. In particular, the Xuan Tinh charity kitchen provided daily meals, supporting the technical team throughout their working days.

These acts of solidarity and compassion have helped spread the spirit of "mutual support and solidarity," enabling flood victims to quickly stabilize their lives and restore their daily routines.
