A generation of students who entered school during Covid-19 graduate

In 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic posed unprecedented challenges for new students entering university. Four years later, on the morning of June 21, 2025, hundreds of students of that generation officially received their diplomas, marking an important milestone in their challenging learning journey, including students of Pacific University.

Forging courage in difficult times

In this graduation ceremony, the new graduates of Pacific University were awarded degrees in the following majors: Information Technology, Accounting, Finance - Banking, Business Administration, Law, Tourism , English Language and Oriental Studies (majoring in Korean Studies, Chinese Studies). Among them, there were: 2 students with Excellent grades, 22 students with Good grades, 6 students were honored as Valedictorians in their majors...

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong - Principal of the school shared: "The knowledge and skills that teachers impart to students are just the foundation. I believe in the ambition and determination of each student, a generation that has steadfastly overcome Covid-19, will bring this knowledge to best apply to work and life".

Representative of the new graduate Vuong Thanh Tuyen - valedictorian of Information Technology, currently a programmer at SweetSoft Joint Stock Company confided: "Our class had to face difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Those challenges have strengthened our fortitude to adapt and study in a completely new environment to achieve the results we have today."

Dedicated to creating motivation and expectations

Present at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Phan Thanh Vinh, father of new graduate Phan Vu Uyen Minh - valedictorian of Oriental Studies (majoring in Chinese Studies) commented: "The dedication, passion and efforts of the teachers have created a loving learning environment and a lot of encouragement and motivation that has helped the children achieve today's results". It is known that graduate Phan Vu Uyen Minh will continue to study for a Master's degree in Translation at Yunnan Normal University (China) with a full scholarship from September this year.

The 2025 graduation ceremony not only recognizes the efforts of students who enrolled during the Covid-19 pandemic, but also reflects the achievements in maintaining the quality of training. The President of Pacific University affirmed that the University is constantly striving to improve quality. To date, most of the training programs have completed accreditation according to national standards. Some programs have been allowed to train at the master's level, and are aiming to improve training to the doctoral level.

The support of lecturers and families has motivated the new graduates to overcome difficulties and achieve their first successes. The new graduates, with their accumulated knowledge and skills, are expected to make positive contributions to society in the context of international integration.
