Opening on the morning of October 20 and expected to close on December 11 at the National Assembly House, the working time of the Session is expected to be 40 days. At this Session, the National Assembly will consider and decide on: 66 contents and groups of contents (49 draft laws, 4 resolutions on legislative work; 13 groups of contents on socio -economics, state budget, supervision and other important issues).

Preparations for the 10th Session were carried out very carefully. The National Assembly Standing Committee spent a lot of time giving opinions on the contents of the Session, organizing a conference of full-time National Assembly deputies to discuss the contents submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval. The National Assembly Office has strengthened its direction, proactively coordinated with relevant agencies, actively implemented, reviewed and improved to further improve the quality of service for the Session.

At the same time, 4 resolutions were considered and approved by the National Assembly, including: (1) Resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to implement Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; (2) Resolution of the National Assembly on special mechanisms and policies to implement Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Politburo on international integration in the new situation; (3) Resolution of the National Assembly on mechanisms and policies to effectively implement Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW dated September 9, 2025 of the Politburo on a number of breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care and improvement of people's health; (4) Resolution of the National Assembly stipulating a number of mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles in organizing the implementation of the Land Law.

In addition, the National Assembly considers and decides on socio-economic issues, the state budget, supervision and other important issues .

Specifically, on socio-economic issues, the state budget includes: Reviewing the Report on the assessment of the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan for 2025; deciding on the socio-economic development plan for 2026. Reviewing the Report on the assessment of the results of the implementation of the state budget for 2025; deciding on the state budget estimate, the central budget allocation plan for 2026. Reviewing the implementation of the public investment plan for 2025 and deciding on the public investment plan for 2026. Reviewing the Report on the assessment of the results of the implementation of the National Assembly's resolutions on the 5-year plan for the period 2021 - 2025: socio-economic development; restructuring the economy; medium-term public investment; national finance and borrowing and repayment of public debt; planning plans: national 5-year finance for the period 2026 - 2030; Medium-term public investment for the period 2026 - 2030.

At the same time, the National Assembly also reviewed reports on judicial work, anti-corruption, crime prevention and control, and law violation monitoring results, the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions, citizen reception, handling of petitions and letters, and the settlement of citizens' complaints and denunciations. Reviewed the Report of the Monitoring Delegation and reviewed and approved the National Assembly's Resolution on the results of specialized monitoring on "Implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 took effect".

Review and discuss the summary report on the implementation by Government members, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy, and State Auditor General of the resolutions of the 14th and 15th National Assembly terms on thematic supervision and questioning.

Discuss the draft Report on the work of the 15th National Assembly; review the work reports for the 2021-2026 term of: the President, the Government, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Nationality Council, the National Assembly Committees, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, and the State Audit Office. Review and approve the Resolution on summarizing the work of the 2021-2026 term.

Review and decide on adjustments to the National Master Plan for the 2021-2030 period. Review and decide on the investment policy for the National Target Program on modernization and improvement of education and training quality for the 2026-2035 period.
