According to Lieutenant Colonel Le Ngoc Can, Deputy Chief of An Bien Commune Police, the search was difficult because the area where the incident occurred was right at a river intersection, with strong currents, while the child was still very young. Local authorities were present at the scene to direct and encourage the family. It is known that Ms. Kieu's family has 5 children, living in difficult circumstances, living in a temporary house. She sells lottery tickets, her husband goes to sea. The missing child is the youngest child in the family.
