Mr. Le Huu Ngoc: Dedicated to work at the grassroots level

With 28 years of working at the grassroots level, including 18 years participating in security and order protection, Mr. Le Huu Ngoc, Deputy Head of the Security and Order Team of Residential Group 2 Phuoc Tuong, Nam Nha Trang Ward, is always dedicated and responsible for his work, trusted and loved by the local government and people.

We met Mr. Le Huu Ngoc when he was assisting people with procedures at the Nam Nha Trang Ward Police Station. Although he is nearly 70 years old, he still looks very agile and proficient in all tasks. Sharing about his years of "carrying prison and communal duties", Mr. Ngoc said that after being discharged from the army in 1997, he joined the position of Head of the Neighborhood Group. At that time, people's lives were still difficult; during the day he went to work to take care of his family's finances , and at night he came back to work for the neighborhood, which was extremely hard. In particular, every time there was new information about policies and guidelines, he went to the households to propagate. His voice was slow and strong, and the information he announced was well received and implemented by the people.

Trusted by the people and highly appreciated by the government, Mr. Ngoc continued to be assigned to hold many important positions such as: Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Council, Vice Chairman of the Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the People's Protection Committee... Later, when the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level was strengthened, he joined and became an "extended arm" of the People's Public Security force. In addition to coordinating with the Nam Nha Trang Ward Police to manage administrative procedures, local order, and patrol, Mr. Ngoc also devoted much effort to reforming bad teenagers and subjects who returned to their localities after reform... In each case, Mr. Ngoc had a skillful, reasonable and appropriate way of handling it.

Captain Hua Quang Hieu, an officer of Nam Nha Trang Ward Police, said: "With a sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and dedication, Mr. Ngoc always completes all assigned tasks, especially education and management of subjects; guidance and propaganda on fire prevention and fighting in residential areas; participating in patrols and controls to ensure security and order in the ward, creating a connection between people and the ward police in general and the local police in particular."

For Mr. Ngoc, doing grassroots work is not only a responsibility, but also a joy to contribute a small part to the peace of the streets, when seeing the people in the neighborhood increasingly united, peaceful, and social evils gradually eliminated. With his dedication, Mr. Le Huu Ngoc continuously achieved the title of Party member who completed his tasks excellently; received many certificates of merit from the Ministry of Public Security, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, and Director of the Provincial Police.
