This is the result of a positive and goodwill cooperation journey between the Vietnam Education Publishing House, the Chilean Embassy in Vietnam, and the companionship of Phuong Nam Education Investment and Development Joint Stock Company.
Chilean Ambassador to Vietnam Sergio Narea Guzman highly appreciated the cooperation efforts between the two sides.
The project not only contributes to spreading reading culture, but also affirms the pioneering role of Vietnam Education Publishing House in integrating international publishing trends, bringing Vietnamese young readers books rich in humanistic values.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh emphasized that introducing "Papelucho" to young Vietnamese readers is not only to enrich the children's bookshelf. It also represents a new direction in the product internationalization strategy, bringing Vietnamese readers closer to the cultural quintessence of humanity.

Papelucho consists of 12 volumes, telling everyday stories from the innocent and delicate perspective of an 8-year-old Chilean boy - imaginative, humorous, mischievous but profound and emotional. He records all his thoughts, experiences and secrets in a diary, from which he forms a classic children's literature work, loved in Chile and many other countries.
Author Marcela Paz has created a character who is not idealistic but real like any other child in real life – knows anger, knows how to argue, but always longs to be loved and understood. The special feature of Papelucho is the diary form – close, easy to read, inspiring children to write their own stories.
Cultural performance imbued with Chilean culture
With a lively, natural and unpretentious writing style, Papelucho has made many readers exclaim: "I feel like I'm reading the diary of a real child." The series promises to open up a familiar world where childhood is cherished, and at the same time become an inspiring companion for Vietnamese children.
