On June 24, a father’s thank-you post went viral on social media, thanking two benefactors for helping his daughter get to the exam site on time. Thanks to that, his daughter was able to take the exam and pass the entrance exam to Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted (HCMC) as she dreamed.

Talking to reporters the same day, Mr. TVL (44 years old, living in Thu Duc City) said that he was the one who posted the article with the hope of finding the two benefactors and directly sending his most sincere thanks.

Previously, on June 7, Mr. L.'s daughter took the 10th grade entrance exam. He and his wife took a taxi to take their daughter to the exam site at Nguyen Huu Huan High School (Thu Duc City). Although they had left 1 hour earlier, because of the rain, traffic was jammed at the intersection of Hanoi Highway and Do Xuan Hop. Sitting in the car, the whole family was anxious because there were about 30 minutes left until the exam time, so everyone decided to get out of the car and find someone to help.

"At that time, two young men on two motorbikes stopped. One was about 20 years old, the other was about 30 years old. Both of them did not have time to put on raincoats but hurriedly drove the whole family to the exam site, about 2km away. As soon as I arrived at the exam site, I did not have time to ask their names or thank them before the two men left," Mr. L. recalled.

Although everyone was soaked by the heavy rain, luckily the candidates arrived just in time to take the test. On the evening of June 23, when he heard that his daughter had passed the entrance exam to Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, Mr. L. silently thanked the two benefactors. Because if he had not received help at that time, it was very likely that his daughter would not have been able to get into the school of her dreams.

Female student Tran Khanh An was admitted to the specialized IT class at Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted.

Sharing with a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper , Mr. L. proudly said: "My daughter is Tran Khanh An, her total exam score is 31.25 points, the standard score to enter the school's IT class is 30.5 points.
