The "Pink Swallow" Award in 2025 is a noble award of the Central Council of Young Pioneers to recognize, commend and reward teachers who are team leaders with outstanding achievements in team work and children's movements. With her passion and love for students, Ms. Thuong always keeps the flame of enthusiasm for her job, becoming a shining example in theeducation sector and team work and children's movements of the city.
Graduated from the Music Pedagogy major at Hue Academy of Music, Ms. Thuong worked at Tran Dai Nghia Primary School. In 2016, she was trusted by the school's board of directors to be the Team Leader. With a spirit of learning, constantly learning, being dynamic and creative, along with encouragement from colleagues, she strived to excellently complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the school's team work achieving many positive results.
Notably, she has 2 C-grade initiatives: "Some measures to educate students about humane qualities" and "Design and use teaching aids to make models of Hoang Sa archipelago". Under her leadership, Tran Dai Nghia Primary School's Union has continuously achieved many outstanding achievements such as: consolation prize in the Central-level "We and traffic safety" contest; third prize in the Central-level "Doing good deeds with Kun every day" contest; first prize in the book character costume contest; 2 second prizes, 1 third prize, 2 consolation prizes in the " Da Nang Green Dance" dance contest...
In particular, in the 2024-2025 school year, the Union was awarded a certificate of merit by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for its outstanding achievements in the work of the Union and the children's movement; achieved the title of "Excellent Union - Thousand Good Deeds" at the city level and the creative model award 15-5 "Connecting Footsteps". In addition, the Union has maintained the title of Excellent Union for many consecutive years, of which, in the 2021-2022 and 2024-2025 school years, it was recognized as the leading Excellent Union.
Regarding personal achievements, Ms. Thuong is a level 1 Central coach at the 2017 Kim Dong National Training Camp; an excellent teacher at the city level in 2021 and 2025; was awarded a certificate of merit for being in charge of a national exemplary team in 2024 and many other certificates of merit from the Central Council of Young Pioneers for her outstanding achievements in team work and children's movements. In addition, she also represented the Da Nang education sector to participate and won third prize in the National Teacher Singing Contest for the 2021-2022 school year.
Not only is she a dedicated Team Leader, Ms. Thuong is also a teacher who always accompanies, listens to and understands her students. The activities she organizes are not only educational but also close, creative, and inspire the sense of responsibility, compassion and love for the homeland in the team members. For her, each hour of team activities is an opportunity to sow good life values and build a friendly and positive school environment.
During that journey, she constantly innovated the content and form of team activities; actively applied information technology to propaganda work, organized extracurricular activities; and focused on training life skills and teamwork skills for students. Her sense of responsibility, love for the profession and perseverance in each activity helped Ms. Thuong not only be loved by students and trusted by parents, but also respected by colleagues and trusted by leaders.
Ms. Thuong shared: “I always keep in mind that each team activity is not only a playground, but also a lesson in being a human being. Therefore, I try to organize and propose activities that are close, practical and suitable for the students’ age. The Pink Swallow Award is a source of pride, motivating me to continue to maintain the flame of passion, continue to be creative, continue to love.”
