Cao Bang organizes forum "Party with workers - Workers with Party"

On the morning of August 27, Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation organized the forum "Party with workers - Workers with the Party".

Grassroots union officials speak out in dialogue with local departments and branches.

Cao Bang currently has more than 28,000 workers and employees. Among enterprises, 103 units have established grassroots trade unions; 43 enterprises have Party organizations.

In recent years, local Party committees, authorities and trade unions have paid attention to directing, deploying and implementing solutions to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises; building a team of skilled, disciplined workers who actively study and improve their capacity and qualifications.

At the forum, union officials and workers listened to the leaders of the Party Committee of Cao Bang Provincial Party Agencies inform them about the local socio -economic situation in the first months of 2025; the work of caring for the material and spiritual life and building a team of workers; the work of arranging the local government apparatus at two levels; major orientations in the documents of the 20th Cao Bang Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Grassroots union officials and workers have frankly discussed and exchanged about issues of concern to workers.

The grassroots union of Cao Bang Construction Materials Production Joint Stock Company, Nung Tri Cao Ward, proposed that the company's Brick Factory No. 2 is currently stopping production due to old production technology and being stuck in the urban development planning.

The land return to the State has not been implemented yet, the company still pays land rent of about 1 billion VND/year, affecting the company's production and business efficiency and the income of workers. Therefore, it is recommended that the competent authority promptly guide the company to carry out the process and procedures for returning the land of Brick Factory No. 2 to the State for management.

Union members and employees of Tuoi Tho Kindergarten (private), Thuc Phan Ward, proposed that the local education sector create conditions for private kindergarten teachers to fully participate in training and professional development courses like teachers in public facilities, helping the school to continuously improve the quality of child care and education.

Many businesses have recommended that specialized departments advise and propose the establishment of local occupational safety and health training centers to facilitate and reduce safety training costs for businesses. Currently, businesses have to invite units from other provinces and cities to conduct occupational safety training, increasing the travel costs of instructors when organizing safety training...

Questions were directly answered and discussed by leaders of Party committees, authorities, trade unions and relevant agencies; questions that were not discussed at the forum were summarized by the conference organizing committee and proposed to competent authorities to fully answer union members and workers.

At the forum, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 collectives and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities in the period 2020-2025; presented 15 gifts to exemplary union members, workers and laborers.
