Instructions for updating banking biometrics using VNeID application

Below are the steps for you to easily update your biometric information via the VNeID application, without having to scan NFC on the CCCD:

Step 1: Access the banking application

- Open the banking app on your phone.

- Go to “Update banking biometrics.”

- Select “VNeID electronic identification account.”

- Take a photo of both sides of the chip-embedded CCCD and your face.

- Then, the screen will display the item "Register personal information." Check the box "Agree" and press "Continue."

- The screen will display a notification about sharing information to the VNeID application, click "Agree" to continue.

Step 3: Confirm OTP code

- Enter the OTP code sent to your phone and confirm your personal information.

- Once completed, the screen will notify that you have successfully registered biometric information for Vietcombank without using NFC.
