A pair of giant dragon statues in Binh Duong.
Accordingly, the pair of dragon sculptures has been recognized as setting a record: The pair of dragons assembled from the most handcrafted ceramic jars and pots in Vietnam. The record was established on March 4, 2024.
Previously, during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon 2024, this unique pair of dragon-shaped vases, upon their unveiling, attracted considerable attention.
The pair of mascots are placed on either side of the Ba Sang bridge on Ho Van Cong road, leading to the traditional craft villages in Tuong Binh Hiep ward.
Each dragon sculpture is nearly 30 meters long, crafted from 38 large jars and almost 20,000 smaller ceramic pots. The pottery used to create the dragons was donated by Dai Hung kiln, a nearly 180-year-old pottery kiln in Tuong Binh Hiep ward.
The pair of dragon statues has been confirmed as a Vietnamese record.
Not only the people of Binh Duong, but the pair of dragon statues, after being posted on social media, received much praise from people all over the country.
