Tammy Abraham has scored nine goals and provided seven assists in all competitions for AS Roma, so it's no surprise that Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are keen to sign him in the coming weeks.
Abraham (red shirt) is playing very well for AS Roma
United need a reliable striker and Abraham appears to be a viable target. The 25-year-old could partner Marcus Rushford up front and he has the potential to succeed in the Premier League having played there before. The former Chelsea striker has shown his quality at Roma, scoring 36 goals for the maroon side since joining them nearly two years ago. The chance to return to England and show his quality at a big club is certainly an attractive proposition for him.
Chelsea, meanwhile, have struggled to score goals of late and are set to bring their former player back to Stamford Bridge. The only stumbling block for the Blues is the difficulty in activating the €80m buy-back clause in Abraham's contract, which was agreed when he was sold to AS Roma for €40m.
While Abraham is not the best striker in Europe, he could be a useful option for Chelsea next season. Abraham knows Chelsea very well and could make an immediate impact at Stamford Bridge.
The 25-year-old striker is ready to return to the Premier League.
Liverpool are looking to sign Abraham as a replacement for Brazil international Roberto Firmino, who is leaving the club as a free agent. Abraham is only 25 and has the potential to improve further. He has the potential to develop into a reliable striker in the Premier League. Clubs such as Newcastle United and Aston Villa are also keeping a close eye on Abraham.
The England striker helped AS Roma win the UEFA Europa Conference League last season and Mourinho's side are in with a chance of winning the Europa League this year after beating Leverkusen 1-0 in the first leg of their semi-final (the second leg will be played early on May 19). Abraham needs to take advantage of this to prepare for bigger challenges in the Premier League.
