The Youth Unions under the Provincial Police Youth Union have coordinated with local youth union units to organize many meaningful and practical activities such as: The Foreign Security Department Youth Union in coordination with the Regional Institute for Science and Technology Development Youth Union (under the Youth Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology ) and the Department of Science and Technology Youth Union organized the donation of funds to support the demolition of temporary and dilapidated houses for wives of martyrs in difficult circumstances; visited and presented gifts to war invalids and sick soldiers in Hoa An commune; offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at Hoa An Martyrs Cemetery; Emulation cluster No. 1 coordinated with the Youth Union of MBbank Cao Bang and the Youth Union of Nung Tri Cao ward to carry out cleaning and beautifying activities, creating a clean and beautiful environment at the Monument to the provincial heroes and martyrs and the Memorial House to the heroes and martyrs of Nung Tri Cao ward...
Captain Pham Xuan Truong, Head of the Provincial Police Youth Union, said: Showing gratitude not only shows affection but also the responsibility of the youth towards the generation of fathers and brothers who sacrificed their blood to protect the independence and freedom of the nation, bringing a peaceful life to the people. War invalid Pham Ngoc Rang, Thuc Phan ward shared: Being cared for, visited, given gifts and encouraged by all levels, sectors, organizations and unions, I do not care about the value of the gift, big or small, but those noble gestures have become a great source of encouragement and sharing to help war invalids like me overcome myself, and are a spiritual support for my family, children and the younger generation to follow.
The family of Mr. Hoang Van Kiet, Thuc Phan ward is a policy family with extremely difficult circumstances. Mr. Kiet's family lives in a seriously degraded house, with no conditions to repair it. Towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the People's Committee of Thuc Phan ward coordinated with the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association to award 70 million VND to support the family in building a new house. Mr. Kiet shared: Thanks to the attention of the local Party Committee, government and part of the funding support from the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, I have now built a solid house.
Currently, the whole province is managing, caring for, supporting and implementing policies for 48,636 people with revolutionary contributions, including 415 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (7 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers are still alive), 6,886 martyrs; 1,476 veteran revolutionaries, 572 pre-uprising cadres, 3 Armed Forces Heroes, 3,391 war invalids; 959 sick soldiers; 1,123 resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals and children of resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals; 1,285 people with revolutionary contributions; 93 resistance fighters imprisoned by the enemy; 32,433 resistance fighters awarded medals.
Along with the good implementation of preferential policies for people with meritorious services, all sectors and levels have effectively deployed the movement "All people take care of families of war invalids, martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution". Up to now, the movement has spread more and more strongly, demonstrating the responsibility and affection of the whole society towards those who have devoted and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation, for the happiness of the people. Since the beginning of the year, the province has organized to welcome 52 delegates to attend activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification in Ho Chi Minh City; 2 delegates who were revolutionary soldiers imprisoned by the enemy attended the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of Con Dao in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (old); 14 relatives of martyrs visited the graves at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Dak Lak province; 229 meritorious people and martyrs' relatives were sent to Quang Ninh province for concentrated treatment and 39 people were provided with health rehabilitation in the province. Timely resolved policies and regimes for 710 meritorious people, relatives of meritorious people and other policy beneficiaries in the province; paid subsidies to meritorious people without going through accounts of over 3.3 billion VND...
Implementing preferential policies of the Party and State, the movement of "Repaying gratitude" in the province has become a regular activity and has spread widely among all classes of people. Party committees, authorities at all levels, together with the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and many units and individuals have voluntarily mobilized and organized many practical activities such as: Supporting, caring for, and supporting housing for people with revolutionary contributions; building a "Repaying gratitude" Fund, searching for martyrs' remains..., bringing about great and practical results.
