In episode 14 - season 6 of Shark Tank Vietnam (broadcast on the evening of January 1 on VTV3), startup Y Pot Nie - Director of E De Cafe Company Limited, Dray Sap commune, Krong Ana district successfully raised 5 billion VND in capital and received a Golden Ticket with a bonus of 100 million VND from Shark Hung Anh.
Starting the coffee business in 2019, Mr. Y Pot's Ede Cafe brand has now established a foothold in the market. Currently, the company's ground coffee products have also been granted a 4-star OCOP certification; a typical national rural industrial product in 2023. In addition to supplying the domestic market, the products are also exported to markets in Japan, Germany, and Canada.
In 2022, Mr. Y Pot's company achieved a revenue of 7.5 billion VND with a profit of 1.2 billion VND. From the beginning of 2023 until the time of Shark Tank, Ede Café achieved a revenue of 10 billion VND and a profit of 1.6 billion VND.

At the program, Mr. Y Pot Nie's project and entrepreneurial spirit received praise and encouragement from the Sharks. Finally, Mr. Y Pot decided to accept Shark Hung Anh's investment of 5 billion VND, including 2.5 billion VND for 15% of shares and 2.5 billion VND as a zero-interest convertible loan.
It is known that Y Pot Nie is a typical ethnic minority and religious youth entrepreneur in Dak Lak province. He was awarded the title of “Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer” by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union in 2022; and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union awarded him a Certificate of Merit as a typical ethnic and religious youth in 2023.
Shark Tank Vietnam is a reality TV show for entrepreneurs who make presentations about their unique products to a panel of investors, reporting on the negotiation process to convince investors to decide to invest in their business projects.
After 5 seasons, Shark Tank Vietnam has become a launching pad for 243 startups from 13 fields to introduce potential business models to investors and tens of millions of domestic and international audiences via VTV3 and digital platforms. Many startups have achieved impressive figures in revenue, customers, searches, and visits that have grown dramatically... equivalent to a marketing campaign worth millions of dollars.
