Chanh Thang Stream in Cat Tien Commune (formerly Cat Thanh Commune, Phu Cat District), more than 10 km from the center of Cat Tien Commune, is hidden among the forests and mountain slopes on Ba Mountain range, inviting those who love nature to come back.

From the winding concrete road through the village, we followed Mr. Truong Van Hai - a local resident - across the fields, along the forest trail. After about 10 minutes of walking, the sound of babbling streams and the calls of wild birds echoed through the dense canopy. The clear stream of water flowing through the crevices of rocks gradually appeared in the quiet space.
Pointing to the source, Mr. Hai excitedly introduced: “That is Chanh Thang mineral spring, originating from Hon Ba mountain, also known as Hon Chuong, flowing down from the majestic Ba mountain range. This place used to be the revolutionary base of the Binh Dinh army and people during the two resistance wars against the French and the Americans.”

Chanh Thang mineral spring has a simple and quiet beauty. Under the forest canopy, the small stream meanders through moss-covered rocks, creating a vivid ink painting. When you come here, you feel like all the hustle and bustle of everyday life is put aside.
From above, Chanh Thang mineral spring looks like a soft brush stroke on the deep green background of the mountains and forests, following the rocks and winding through the canopy of ancient trees. Many local people, children and tourists come here to relax and bathe in the spring, enjoying the purity of nature.
What is special is that this stream has two separate water sources - one cold, one hot. The underground hot water flows from underground, with a stable temperature of about 25 - 30 degrees Celsius. Local people say: The warm water has many minerals, not only helps the body relax but also has the effect of supporting the treatment of some bone and joint diseases, insomnia... Many people have come to Chanh Thang mineral spring for effective "natural therapy".
Ms. Nguyen Thi The (An Quang Dong village, De Gi commune) shared: "Every week I come here to bathe a few times. The water is warm, the air is fresh, and I feel much healthier."

The space around the stream still retains its original beauty. On weekends, many groups of young people come to set up tents, camp, and have fun by the babbling stream. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Trinh (An Luong commune) said: “I learned about Chanh Thang mineral spring through social networks and decided to invite my friends to go for a “change of pace” on the weekend. The road to the stream is quite easy to travel, motorbikes can go all the way there, and you can completely immerse yourself in nature. The stream has two streams, cool and warm, and the air is really pleasant. It is truly an ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle.”
Leaving the stream, if you have time, you can visit famous places along the coastal route DT 639 such as: Temple of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc, Ba Mountain Victory Monument, Vinh Hoi beach, Trung Luong...
