Economic development, synchronous infrastructure, strong digital transformation
Bac Gia Nghia Ward was established on the basis of merging Nghia Thanh, Nghia Duc, Quang Thanh wards and Dak Ha commune. This is an area that plays an important role in the development orientation of the western urban space of Lam Dong province. With a spirit of solidarity and high determination, in the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committees of communes and wards before the merger have led, directed and implemented many outstanding results in socio-economic development. Total budget revenue is estimated at over 2,010 billion VND; total social investment capital is estimated at about 12,000 billion VND. The economic structure has shifted in a positive direction, gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture - forestry - fishery (14.6%), gradually increasing the proportion of industry - construction (36.4%) and trade - services (49%).
The whole ward has over 320 small-scale industrial establishments operating stably, with the most prominent industries being the production of solar energy equipment, civil mechanics, and traditional carpentry; the trade and service system is strongly developed with over 1,200 enterprises and business households. Infrastructure is invested in, and the urban appearance is increasingly spacious, clean, and beautiful.
The agricultural economy has made a breakthrough, focusing on high-tech agriculture , linking production and consumption chains. The whole ward currently has about 2,052 hectares of industrial crops and fruit trees using high technology; 8 cooperatives and 14 products with OCOP certification. In particular, Dak Ha commune (old) has been recognized as meeting new rural standards by 2024. Culture and society have changed positively. The whole ward has 15 public schools from kindergarten to junior high school that have been invested in and upgraded; 100% of management staff and 95% of teachers have met or exceeded standards. The work of taking care of people's health has been well implemented. The work of taking care of social security, vocational training, and creating jobs for people has been implemented synchronously. The poverty rate in the whole ward has decreased to 2.15%.
Notably, the digital transformation work has been carried out vigorously by the locality. 100% of cadres and civil servants are equipped with electronic document processing devices and software. All residential groups, villages and hamlets have community digital technology teams to support people in using online public services. The “paperless meeting room” model has been deployed, saving costs and improving operational efficiency.

Building a strong Party, improving government effectiveness
The work of building the Party and the political system is identified by Bac Gia Nghia ward as a key task, deciding the effectiveness of implementing all development programs. Since then, grassroots party organizations have been regularly consolidated, improved and enhanced in capacity. 100% of villages, hamlets and residential groups have party cells and local party members, ensuring the comprehensive leadership of the Party.
The ward Party Committee currently has 6 grassroots Party cells and 45 affiliated Party cells with 1,288 Party members. 100% of Party cells implement the "four good Party cells" model. Party member development work is given attention, and every year the assigned targets are met and exceeded. Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style are widely implemented with many good models and creative ways of doing things. Inspection and supervision work is carried out seriously, promptly handling violations with the spirit of "no forbidden areas, no exceptions".
The administrative system has been improved towards streamlining, effectiveness and efficiency. The activities of the People's Council have been improved in terms of both the quality of supervision and the issuance of resolutions. During its term, the Ward People's Council organized 48 supervision sessions focusing on issues related to the people; issued 206 resolutions to direct and operate all aspects of local work; organized 165 meetings with 12,071 voters participating; received 1,194 opinions and recommendations from voters and they were basically resolved. Administrative reform, digital transformation and application of information technology continue to be promoted, 100% of agencies and units use document management and administration software, official email system in handling work... The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations regularly innovate the content and methods of operation, strengthen the role of supervision, social criticism and people's mobilization, contributing to strengthening people's trust in Party committees and authorities.
Towards modern urban areas, digital government
According to comrade Vo Pham Xuan Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Gia Nghia ward, in the 2020-2025 term, the ward Party Committee has achieved many outstanding results in socio-economic development and political system building.
Based on the summary of practice, the Party Committee has drawn four important lessons as a basis for the new term. First of all, it is necessary to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity in concretizing and flexibly applying the policies of the Central and the province into practice. Along with strengthening leadership capacity, promoting the role of the leader, maintaining internal solidarity, improving the effectiveness of the activities of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations, the locality needs to build a streamlined and effective administrative apparatus; synchronously invest in infrastructure, strengthen urban-rural linkages, creating a foundation for rapid and sustainable development. "The results achieved in the past term are clear evidence of the spirit of solidarity and high unity of the Party Committee, government, political system and the consensus of the people. This is an important premise for Bac Gia Nghia ward to confidently enter the era of rising up with the nation", affirmed comrade Vo Pham Xuan Lam.
Also according to comrade Vo Pham Xuan Lam, entering the 2025 - 2030 term, the Ward Party Committee determined the consistent goal of continuing to strengthen the building of a clean and strong Party; mobilizing maximum resources to develop modern urban areas, high-tech agriculture, environmentally friendly services and tourism; ensuring national defense - security and improving people's lives.
The Party Committee identified four breakthroughs: promoting digital transformation, administrative reform, and technology application; effectively operating the two-level government model; attracting investment in areas with potential and advantages; building a team of qualified and capable cadres to meet development requirements. The work of Party building and rectification continues to be seriously implemented in the spirit of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee and Conclusion 21-KL/TW; promoting decentralization and delegation of power and promoting personal responsibility, especially that of leaders, according to the motto "locality decides, locality does, locality takes responsibility".
