ChatGPT is still inaccessible
OpenAI's outage is considered serious, affecting not only APIs but also products like ChatGPT and Sora - the company's newly launched AI video creation service.
With so many companies relying on OpenAI API access for their own projects, the outage affected millions of users, leaving OpenAI scrambling to restore service as quickly as possible.
So far, there has been no word from OpenAI about whether ChatGPT will be back online. When accessing the service, users only receive a message stating that they cannot connect. Thanh Nien 's testing showed that ChatGPT's web service was inaccessible, but the service still responded to the mobile app.
In its latest official statement on the issue, OpenAI said: "ChatGPT, Sora, and the API remain down. We have identified the issue and are working on a fix. We are working hard to get the service back up and running and apologize for the downtime."
