Smoke and fire were billowing from the top floor of the apartment building. Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Bac Ninh Province Police quickly mobilized vehicles and forces to the scene, coordinating with the people to organize fire fighting and rescue.

Speaking to VietNamNet reporter, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Binh, Head of Bac Ninh City Police, said that people were welding on the top floor of the apartment building, causing fire to spread to their clothes, leading to a fire.

"The fire site had many flammable objects. The high column of smoke made people panic. Currently, the fire is basically under control," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Binh.

The fire did not cause any human casualties. Authorities are assessing the damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
