The Fire Prevention and Fighting Force of Hai Duong City Police quickly mobilized officers and 3 fire trucks to put out the fire, promptly preventing the fire from spreading to nearby houses.

A resident living near the scene of the fire said that when the fire was controlled, the factory inside had also been burned down.

Responding to VietNamNet reporters at 10 p.m., Hai Duong City leaders said the fire had been extinguished, fortunately there were no human casualties, and property damage was being assessed.
