The fire department of Hai Duong City Police quickly dispatched officers and 3 fire trucks to extinguish the fire, preventing it from spreading to nearby houses.

A resident living near the scene of the fire said that by the time the fire was brought under control, the factory building inside had already been completely destroyed.

Responding to a VietNamNet reporter at 10 PM, the leader of Hai Duong City said that the fire had been extinguished, fortunately there were no casualties, and the extent of property damage is still being assessed.
