The fire occurred at approximately 6:30 PM tonight (March 23rd) at a car garage in Tan Phuoc ward, Phu My city, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

According to initial information, at the time of the incident, a large fire broke out at garage 86 in group 13, Phuoc Loc neighborhood, Tan Phuoc ward. The fire raged fiercely in the workshop and storage area due to the presence of many flammable materials such as oil, lubricants, plastics, etc.
The workshop covers an area of approximately 2,000 square meters, and the warehouse and single-story building used for storing materials are 400 square meters in size.
When the fire broke out, some people shouted for help and tried to put it out with water, but without success. Eyewitnesses at the scene said they heard several loud explosions coming from the fire.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Area 3, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police, dispatched 4 specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.
By around 8 PM, although the fire was under control, authorities continued to spray water to cool the area. Much of the property inside the garage was burned or damaged.
The cause and extent of the damage from the fire are currently being investigated by authorities.
