Social housing units sold out on the first day of sales.

The A6-A7 social housing project in Quang Vinh ward, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province currently has a total of 348 social housing units for sale, each with an area of 43.8 - 65.8m2, and 87 social housing units for rent with an area of 49.8 - 62.2m2 each. The investor also plans to accept applications for purchasing or renting a house from October 5th to November 16th.

According to observations during the first two days of sales, September 15th and 19th, thousands of people gathered at the A6-A7 social housing project to purchase application forms. Within just 1-2 hours, 500 application forms were sold out.

According to the company, although the application forms were sold during business hours, many people were already lining up from 6-7 am. Some people who arrived late missed out on the forms and had to return the next day.

The company will continue selling application forms based on buyer demand until November 16th, with the quantity potentially reaching 2,000-3,000 sets or more. After the application period ends (from October 5th to November 16th), the company will review the applications. Valid applications will be forwarded to the relevant provincial authorities for verification of eligibility; applications that do not meet the requirements will be rejected.

If the number of eligible applications exceeds the number of apartments available, a lottery will be held to select the winners. If the number of eligible applications is less than the number of apartments available, subsequent rounds of sales will be organized.

After signing the contract, the buyer will pay 30% of the contract value within 15 days. The remaining amount will be divided into 6 installments to be paid until the handover of the apartment, which is expected in April 2025.

The A6-A7 Social Housing Project comprises a total of 348 social housing units for sale and 87 social housing units for rent. The expected selling price for social housing units, excluding value-added tax and the 2% maintenance fee, is approximately VND 18.8 million/ ^m² ; the expected selling price, including 5% value-added tax and excluding the 2% maintenance fee, is approximately VND 19.8 million/m².

The rental price for social housing, excluding value-added tax, is approximately 105,000 VND/ ^m² , while the rental price for social housing, including 5% value-added tax, is approximately 110,000 VND/ ^m² .

Thus, the social housing project is creating opportunities for some residents in Bien Hoa City who currently have average incomes to own the most suitable home for their families.
