Big fire at scrap yard in Sam Son

On the afternoon of July 31, according to information from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, at around 2:45 p.m. the same day, a fire broke out at a scrap yard in Hung Thong residential group, Quang Tho ward, Sam Son city.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Thanh Hoa Police mobilized 5 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene.

Because the fire occurred near a residential area, authorities mobilized water trucks from Sam Son City Environment Joint Stock Company to quickly put out the fire, preventing it from spreading to the residential area.

The fire was brought under control and extinguished at 3 p.m. the same day. The cause and damage of the fire are under investigation.
