Large fire, excavators mobilized to demolish debris and clear a path for firefighting.

(NLĐO) - Numerous warehouses and factories were engulfed in fierce flames, and it took authorities many hours to bring the fire under control.

At around 12 noon on January 13th, residents discovered a fire at a warehouse at the end of Chien Thang Street in the General Department 5 Urban Area (Tan Trieu commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi ).

Upon discovering the fire, many workers in the factory shouted to each other to escape and simultaneously reported the incident to the authorities.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire and Rescue force of Thanh Tri district police dispatched 5 fire trucks and numerous officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.

According to a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper, by 2:30 PM, authorities had mobilized additional excavators to demolish and clear a path for firefighters to extinguish the fire inside and prevent it from reigniting.

Reportedly, the area where the fire occurred included several warehouses: a paper warehouse, a carpet warehouse, a mechanical workshop, a woodworking shop, etc. Currently, there are no reports of casualties, and property damage is being assessed.
