According to initial information, at approximately 4 PM on the same day, a fire broke out at a foam manufacturing factory in the city. Because the factory contained many flammable materials and a large quantity of finished foam products, the flames quickly spread, engulfing the entire factory building, which spanned hundreds of square meters and was located within a residential area.

Upon discovering the fire at the factory, workers attempted to extinguish it using portable fire extinguishers, but without success. Thick black smoke and intense heat made accessing the scene difficult. In a short time, a column of black smoke rose dozens of meters into the air, visible from a distance.
Fearing the fire would spread to nearby buildings and that toxic smoke would affect their health, many residents living near the area proactively evacuated.
Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched forces from Firefighting and Rescue Teams 9, 13, and 20, along with Team 3 of the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department, to the scene. More than 10 specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers were mobilized to control the fire.
At the scene, numerous firefighters equipped with gas masks and specialized equipment advanced deep into the burning area to search for trapped people. Simultaneously, multiple firefighting teams deployed water hoses from various directions to prevent the fire from spreading to the surrounding residential area.
After more than an hour of firefighting efforts, authorities have basically brought the fire under control and completely extinguished it. Search and rescue operations continue at the scene to ensure that no one remains trapped inside.
The cause of the fire and the extent of property damage are currently being investigated, documented, and clarified by the authorities.
