People are gradually getting used to the new fuel.
According to observations by Tien Phong reporters on the morning of June 2nd at many retail gasoline stations in Quang Ngai province, buying and selling activities were proceeding normally. Customers were still filling up their tanks as usual, with no signs of apprehension or worry about fuel quality.
At gas stations, staff proactively advise customers about the composition, characteristics, and performance of vehicles when using E10 gasoline. As a result, initial concerns are gradually alleviated.

Mr. Le Quang Tuyen (70 years old, residing in Cam Thanh ward) said that he has been using E10 gasoline for more than a month now. According to him, his family's motorbike is still running smoothly, with no significant difference compared to when they used regular gasoline before.
"The car runs normally, and I don't see any problems. If it's both good for use and contributes to environmental protection, then I fully support the policy of switching to E10 gasoline," Mr. Tuyen shared.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Man, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ngai province, in order to implement the roadmap for switching to biofuels, petroleum businesses in the area have simultaneously introduced E10 gasoline into their distribution systems since the end of April.
"To date, business operations have been normal, with no unusual fluctuations recorded in supply or consumption markets. People are gradually adapting to the new fuel," Mr. Man said.
The market is operating stably.
As one of the first units to implement the E10 gasoline business, Petrolimex Quang Ngai has proactively prepared all the necessary conditions in terms of infrastructure, supply, and human resources to serve the transition process.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Deputy Director of Petrolimex Quang Ngai, said that the company has been selling E10 RON95-III gasoline since September 2025 at three gas stations, numbers 21, 22, and 29, with an average consumption of approximately 150 m3/month.

In the former Quang Ngai province area, the supply of E10 gasoline is fully guaranteed by the Dung Quat Refinery. By April 29th, 32 gas stations in this area had completed the conversion and started selling E10 gasoline. From May 1st, all licensed distributors in the area also simultaneously switched to distributing this product.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung, store manager of Petrolimex Quang Ngai's Petrol Station No. 1, said that the unit had prepared the necessary conditions many months in advance. Early implementation allows the business time to perfect its operational procedures and enables customers to familiarize themselves with the new product.
"Since its launch, the store has not received any negative feedback from customers. Many people, after using it, have continued to choose E10 gasoline for subsequent refueling trips. This shows that the product is gradually gaining the trust of consumers," Mr. Dung said.

Currently, Quang Ngai province has approximately 365 retail gasoline stations. With the advantage of owning the Dung Quat Oil Refinery producing mineral gasoline and the Dung Quat Bio-Ethanol Plant producing fuel ethanol, the locality is considered to have many favorable conditions to lead in the development of biofuels.
From April 30th, retail gasoline stations and small-scale gasoline outlets in the area began selling E10 gasoline, about a month earlier than the national schedule. To date, the entire gasoline distribution system in the area has simultaneously started selling this type of fuel.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Man, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ngai province, said that after more than a month of implementation, the market is operating stably, the supply is ensured, and no unusual complaints have been recorded from consumers.

In the coming period, the department will continue to closely monitor supply and demand developments, and strengthen communication efforts to help people better understand the benefits of biofuels. In addition, inspection and supervision activities regarding the blending, distribution, and trading of petroleum products will be intensified to protect consumer rights and promptly address any violations that may arise.
E10 gasoline is a blend of 90% mineral gasoline and 10% fuel ethanol. Besides its price advantage, currently at over 23,600 VND/liter, this fuel also helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions, is more environmentally friendly, and utilizes domestically produced raw materials. From June 1st, E10 gasoline will be officially distributed nationwide, replacing RON95 III mineral gasoline, while E5 RON92 gasoline will continue to be used until the end of 2030.
