Dozens of fire trucks and many officers were mobilized to the scene of the fire at the parking lot under Vinh Tuy bridge.

According to initial information, the fire broke out at around 12:15 pm on August 30 at a car and motorbike parking lot near the foot of Vinh Tuy bridge (Hong Ha ward, Hanoi ).

At that time, people in the area discovered thick black smoke and a strong burning smell coming from the area near the foot of Vinh Tuy Bridge and Hanoi Port. Observing from Vinh Tuy Bridge, one could clearly see the fire inside with many cars and motorbikes. The fierce fire raged, making anyone who witnessed it scared.

Upon receiving the report from the people, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center urgently mobilized specialized vehicles along with the Fire Police and Rescue forces to the scene and organized to approach and control the fire.

By around 2pm, the authorities had brought the fire under control, but many motorbikes at the scene were burned down. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but dozens of motorbikes were burned down.
