- Large vehicles driving recklessly clearly pose a greater threat to traffic safety than smaller vehicles. Trucks, tankers, tractor-trailers, intercity buses... are numerous, reflecting the developing economy and improved living standards. So why does reckless driving persist?
- The most obvious issue is the low level of traffic awareness, which fuels the high number of accidents. Another problem is that the transportation infrastructure doesn't meet current regulations. For example, some highways only have two lanes and lack emergency stopping lanes. Stopping carelessly on a highway like this can lead to permanent accidents. Furthermore, improper traffic management and enforcement are also chronic problems that contribute to the continued high number of accidents.
- The reasons mentioned above are clearly not new. If old problems aren't dealt with thoroughly, they'll continue to persist. When will we be able to go out safely?
- No country can achieve a complete elimination of accidents. However, minimizing accidents, especially serious ones, is achievable. This can only be accomplished when most road users obey traffic laws.
