Hanoi A 60-square-meter wood workshop in Yen So ward, Hoang Mai district caught fire fiercely and then spread to the two-story house next door on the morning of May 4.
At around 9am, a fire broke out with many explosions from behind a wood workshop in alley 975 Tam Trinh street, Yen So ward. People nearby used mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire, but were unsuccessful. "The workshop was engulfed in flames in about 10 minutes," said a witness.
Because the wood workshop was in hot weather, the fire spread to the two-story house next door, rising about 7 meters high, with a column of black smoke billowing along Tam Trinh Street.
At the time of the fire, the factory was closed. Normally, there are 4 workers working here.

According to the leader of Yen So Ward People's Committee, the fire did not cause any human casualties, however the wood workshop was almost burned down. The house next door only had a small fire and was brought under control in time.
