Chelsea and Haaland took to social media to taunt Arsenal after their 3-4 penalty shootout defeat to PSG (1-1 after 120 minutes) in the Champions League final on May 31st.

Just minutes after the match ended, Arsenal's Premier League rivals began mocking the defeat. First, Chelsea, the Champions League winners of 2012 and 2021, published an article with implied jabs at Arsenal.

Chelsea's official X account posted a message that read: "Come and visit the House of Trophies in London," accompanied by a striking, glittering image of the famous Champions League trophy.

To refer to Stamford Bridge as the true home of trophies in the capital at a time when Arsenal are failing is a biting mockery.

This chilling taunt quickly spread across social media platforms. The post garnered thousands of interactions from Chelsea fans, while Arsenal supporters were furious. They criticized Chelsea's post as being carefully calculated to "inflicted great pain on the Gunners."

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland also had a similar "laughing at the pain" moment with Arsenal defender Gabriel. Haaland has clashed with Gabriel on several occasions in recent years and even threw a ball at the defender's head during a match between the two teams in 2024.

This year, in Manchester City's 2-1 win over Arsenal in April, the two players faced each other again, and Gabriel nearly received a red card after pushing Haaland in the head. Therefore, immediately after Gabriel missed the penalty, Haaland posted a photo of himself smirking, along with three friends who were all grinning.

Below this photo are numerous gleeful comments from Man City fans. One person wrote: "Haaland's humble attitude after Gabriel missed the penalty is the ultimate act of teasing."

Haaland wasn't the only opposing star gloating over Arsenal's defeat. Tottenham stars Djed Spence and Richarlison also posted mocking comments about Arsenal, including images of a "crying baby" and "locks" that wouldn't open, all to taunt Arsenal's loss.
