Chopped off wife's ex-lover's hand because of jealousy

On January 27, the Investigation Police Team of Minh Thuong District Police ( Kien Giang ) announced that they had just decided to temporarily detain Danh Hoang Linh (30 years old, residing in Minh Cuong Hamlet, Minh Thuan Commune, Minh Thuong District) and Danh Cua (29 years old, residing in Boi Loi B Hamlet, Binh Minh Commune, Vinh Thuan District, Kien Giang) to investigate the act of intentionally causing injury .

Working with the police, Linh stated: on the afternoon of January 24, Linh drove a motorbike carrying his wife, LTBT, to attend a death anniversary at his wife's uncle's house in Hamlet 12, Vinh Hoa Commune, Minh Thuong District. There, Linh met LVU (29 years old), Linh's wife's ex-boyfriend, who was also at the party. Linh was jealous and angry, so he did not attend the party but went to lie in a hammock behind the house.

At around 9:00 p.m. that same day, Linh drove his wife home and called his nephew Danh Cua to go find and beat up Mr. U. Danh Cua agreed and invited 6 other young men to run back to Cua's house to get a homemade knife and then went back to his uncle's house with Linh (also carrying a knife).

After hearing LVU's description, Danh Cua sent a group of young men into the house to invite U out to meet him to "talk". Seeing the group of strangers and not being friendly, U and two friends who were drinking with him, L. and T., entered the house, took knives and wooden sticks, and chased Danh Cua's group out.

With their accomplices at a disadvantage, Danh Hoang Linh and Danh Cua immediately pulled out their knives to help. After a moment of fighting, Linh's group quickly left the scene. At this time, people around discovered that U. was unconscious and had his left hand cut off, L. had his right hand cut, and T. was injured in the left rib, so they took all three to the Vinh Thuan District Medical Center for emergency treatment, then transferred them to Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City for further treatment.

Upon receiving the news, that same night, Minh Thuong Police organized a crime scene investigation, investigated and urgently arrested Linh. By the afternoon of January 26, through the family's persuasion, Danh Cua and the others involved in the fight surrendered after more than a day on the run in Ca Mau province.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Minh Thuong District Police, Kien Giang Province is urgently completing procedures to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and investigate to clarify the actions of those involved.
