On the morning of December 24, the OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council of Chi Linh City organized the evaluation and classification of products in 2024.
This year, there are 8 products participating in the evaluation and classification. Of these, 5 products are being evaluated and classified for the first time, including: Bac An bananas of Tran Thi Nguyet business household in Bac An commune, Khu Dang rice cakes of Nguyen Thi Khu business household in An Lac ward, Hoang Tien custard apples of Hoang Tien ward Agricultural Cooperative, smoked sausages of An Eco Clean Food Processing and Livestock Cooperative in Cong Hoa ward, and Mieu Son sticky rice wine of Ngo Van Son business household in Thai Hoc ward.
The 3 products evaluated and recognized include: Thai Hoc taro of the Farmers' Cooperative Group producing and consuming taro in Thai Hoc ward, Ben Tam custard apple of the Farmers' Cooperative Group producing and consuming in Ben Tam ward and broom of Mat Son broom Cooperative in Chi Minh ward.
The Council evaluated the products with many improvements in quality, diverse designs, ensuring conditions and regulations on stamps, labels, and traceability. Based on the evaluation results, the Council evaluated and classified OCOP products of Chi Linh City, initially evaluating the above products to meet 3-star OCOP standards.
The Council recommends that entities and localities continue to innovate promotion methods, expand production scale, further enhance product value, gradually shift production towards a market economy , and enhance product value...
Chi Linh City currently has 41 OCOP products certified by the Provincial People's Committee as 3 to 4 star OCOP products.
