In the images and short video clip promoting the film released by the producer on September 1, Chi Pu appears briefly but still leaves an impression with the horrifying "blood drinking" scene.

She transformed into a seductive, beautiful female vampire in a powerful but extremely dangerous black dress.

The film revolves around the war between humans and the vampire race that is lurking around them. Besides Chi Pu, the film also features Thuan Nguyen, Tran Ngoc Vang, Trinh Thao...

Recently, Chi Pu attracted attention when participating in the reality TV show "Dap Gio" in China. She excellently won 6th place in the final round of the show, becoming the first Vietnamese artist to debut in a music group from this show.

On August 27, Chi Pu also had an explosive performance at the final night of "Miss Grand Vietnam 2023" with a medley of "Miss Showbiz", "From Today", and "Doa Hoa Hong".

This time, returning to the big screen, Chi Pu promises to make an impression when she re-collaborates with Timothy Linh Bui and Happy Canvas after the work "Chi chi em em" in 2019.

Explaining the reason for naming the film "Sun People", director Timothy Linh Bui said: "The film's name sounds contradictory at first when vampires are a species that is half human, half dead and lives in the dark. However, this title represents the desire of a special group of vampires in the film. These vampires still long for the feeling of sunlight - not as a poison, but as a sign of true life".

The director said he focused on conveying to the audience a story of brotherhood, forgiveness, sacrifice... rather than being too dependent on a certain framework. The film is scheduled to be released on December 8.

The film exploits a strange theme for Vietnamese cinema, although not new compared to world cinema.
