The consumer price index in April 2026 increased by 0.93%.

According to statistics from Dong Nai City, the consumer price index (CPI) in Dong Nai City in April 2026 increased by 0.93% compared to the previous month; the average price index for the first four months of 2026 increased by 4.14% compared to the same period last year.

Nine groups of goods and services saw price increases in April 2026. The housing, electricity, water, fuel, and construction materials group had the highest increase at 3.64%. This was mainly due to rising prices of energy and construction materials in line with global price trends, as well as increased domestic construction demand. Additionally, the clothing, hats, and footwear groups, and the food and beverage services group also experienced significant price increases. Conversely, the transportation and information and communication groups were the only two groups of goods and services with price decreases in April.
