Procedures for registering and paying voluntary social insurance (SI) and family health insurance (HI) will be carried out quickly, conveniently, saving maximum costs and time in 3 ways: direct payment and online.
According to statistics from Vietnam Social Security, in 2022 and the first 4 months of 2023 (up to April 9, 2023), Vietnam Social Security received and resolved about 51,433 cases of family health insurance card renewal transactions; 7,216 cases of continuing to pay voluntary social insurance through the National Public Service Portal.
The procedure for registering and paying voluntary social insurance and family health insurance will be done quickly, conveniently, saving maximum cost and time in 3 ways: direct payment and online payment.
Pay directly at the authorized service organization to collect social insurance and health insurance or the social insurance agency at the place of residence or temporary residence.
Closing and submitting via the public service portal: Participants can perform procedures on the National Public Service Portal (at: https://dichvucong.gov.vn) or the Vietnam Social Security Public Service Portal (at: https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn).
Applicable cases include: Registering to participate in voluntary social insurance for the first time; continuing to pay voluntary social insurance; renewing health insurance cards for households (including cases with reduced contribution levels; without reduced contribution levels).
Through the online application of 5 banks, including: Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB), Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development ( Agribank ), Vietnam Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank).
Participants can perform transactions: Continue paying voluntary social insurance; renew family health insurance cards without reducing the payment level on the online application of these banks with simple and easy-to-perform operations.
