Details of the arrangement of wards in Ho Chi Minh City from 2025

TPO - The National Assembly Standing Committee has just issued a Resolution on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Ho Chi Minh City for the 2023-2025 period.

According to the resolution, after rearranging commune-level administrative units, Ho Chi Minh City has 22 district-level administrative units, including 16 districts, 5 counties and 1 city; 273 commune-level administrative units (including 210 wards, 58 communes and 5 towns).

Specifically, in District 3 , the entire natural area and population of Ward 10 will be merged into Ward 9. The entire natural area and population of Ward 13 will be merged into Ward 12. After the arrangement, District 3 will have 10 wards.

In District 4 , enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 6 into Ward 9. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 10 into Ward 8. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 14 into Ward 15. After arrangement, District 4 has 10 wards.

In District 5 , enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 3 into Ward 2. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 6 into Ward 5. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 8 into Ward 7. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 10 into Ward 11. After arrangement, District 5 has 10 wards.

In District 6 , enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 3 and Ward 4 into Ward 1. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 6 and adjust a part of the natural area and population of Ward 5 to enter into Ward 2. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 5 after adjustment into Ward 9. Adjust a part of the natural area and population of Ward 10 to enter into Ward 11. Adjust a part of the natural area and population of Ward 13 to enter into Ward 14. After the arrangement, District 6 has 10 wards.

In District 8 , Rach Ong ward was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Ward 1, Ward 2, Ward 3. Hung Phu ward was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Ward 8, Ward 9, Ward 10. Xom Cui ward was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Ward 11, Ward 12, Ward 13. After the arrangement, District 8 has 10 wards.

In District 10 , enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 7 into Ward 6. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 5 into Ward 8. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 11 into Ward 10. After arrangement, District 10 has 11 wards.

In District 11 , enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 2 into Ward 1. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 4 and Ward 6 into Ward 7. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 12 into Ward 8. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 9 into Ward 10. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 13 into Ward 11. After arrangement, District 11 has 10 wards.

In Binh Thanh district , merge the entire natural area and population of Ward 3 into Ward 1. Adjust part of the natural area and population of Ward 6 to merge into Ward 5. Merge the entire natural area and population of Ward 6 after adjustment into Ward 7. Adjust part of the natural area and population of Ward 13 to merge into Ward 11. Merge the entire natural area and population of Ward 15 into Ward 2. Merge the entire natural area and population of Ward 21 into Ward 19. Merge the entire natural area and population of Ward 24 into Ward 14. After the arrangement, Binh Thanh district has 15 wards.

In Go Vap district, enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 4 and Ward 7 into Ward 1. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 9 into Ward 8. Adjust part of the natural area and population of Ward 13 to enter into Ward 14. Enter the entire natural area and population of Ward 13 after adjustment into Ward 15. After the arrangement, Go Vap district has 12 wards.

In Phu Nhuan district , merge the entire natural area and population of Ward 3 into Ward 4. Merge the entire natural area and population of Ward 17 into Ward 15. After the arrangement, Phu Nhuan district has 11 wards.
