Pay pensions and social insurance benefits through accounts from September 4

From September 4, the Hai Phong City Social Insurance Agency began paying pensions and social insurance benefits for September through the beneficiaries' personal accounts.

According to Hai Phong Social Insurance, from the payment period of September 2025 and the following months, every month, the Social Insurance agency will directly transfer monthly pension and social insurance benefits to the beneficiary's personal account on the 2nd working day of the month.

For the payment period of September 2025, the City Social Insurance Agency will make payments from September 4. In case the beneficiary has not received pension or social insurance benefits due to incorrect declaration of personal account information, please contact the Social Insurance Agency (or Post Office ) to change the information correctly and promptly and receive the regime within the month.

For beneficiaries who register to receive cash at payment points, on the 4th of every month, Hai Phong City Post Office will make cash payments throughout the city (if there is any change, the Social Insurance agency will notify the beneficiaries). In addition, if the beneficiary needs to receive monthly pensions and social insurance benefits through personal accounts, please contact the nearest Social Insurance agency for instructions.

As of now, the city has 189,294 pensioners. In the first 7 months of 2025, the Social Insurance Agency paid more than 1,244 billion VND to pensioners. Of which, 187,454 beneficiaries received benefits through non-cash payment methods, reaching 99.02%.
