Sharing experience in operating an editorial office, exchanging professional skills

(CLO) On March 6, in Hanoi , Border Guard Newspaper and Vietnam Veterans Newspaper held a meeting to exchange journalism skills.


The meeting aimed to strengthen the connection and share experiences between the staff, reporters and editors of the two press agencies. At the same time, this was also an opportunity for the two agencies to have in-depth discussions on the operation of electronic newsrooms, content production on digital platforms and propose creative solutions to improve the quality of press activities in the current context of digital transformation.

At the meeting, representatives of the two agencies discussed practical experiences in digital transformation of journalism; methods of operating a converged newsroom; multi-platform content production process; application of artificial intelligence in journalism; and proposed cooperation contents in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Do Phu Tho , Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Veterans Newspaper, expressed his hope that the two agencies would regularly exchange information related to the production process, content development, and multi-platform journalism and media working methods; focusing on applying artificial intelligence to optimize operations, operating a convergent editorial model in the journalism process, producing content according to digital journalism trends, optimizing the news production process, and meeting the increasing demands of readers.

Agreeing with this view, Colonel Nham Hong Hac, Editor-in-Chief of Border Guard Newspaper, affirmed that the contents discussed at the meeting will help the two press agencies gain more practical experience to improve the quality of their operations, especially in the field of digital journalism.

Colonel Nham Hong Hong Hac expressed his hope that in the coming time, the Border Guard Newspaper and the Vietnam Veterans Newspaper will establish a long-term cooperative relationship, regularly share experiences and support each other in professional work. At the same time, the two agencies will coordinate to implement press projects, promote the strengths of each side to improve the quality of propaganda work, serve well the assigned political tasks and contribute to the overall development of the country's press.
