The auction of Vietnam national football team jerseys for charity went smoothly; the jersey of player Nguyen Xuan Son won the highest price, up to 120 million VND.

On the News of Vietnam News Agency , Vietnam Partnership Auction Company (VPA) said that it had successfully organized auctions of items from donors to support individuals with difficult circumstances in life (through charity funds). The auctions took place consecutively from 9:00 to 10:10 on January 15, 2025.

Who successfully bought Xuan Son's shirt?

There were 15 items successfully auctioned with a total winning bid of 304 million VND, notably the Vietnam national team jersey that player Nguyen Xuan Son wore in the match against the Singapore team in the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 semi-finals on December 29, 2024. This special jersey had a winning bid of up to 120 million VND. Some typical winning bidders include: VPBank Securities Joint Stock Company, Winlegal Law Firm LLC... Immediately after the end of the auction, the winning bidder completed the payment of the remaining winning bid into the account of VPA Company.

Also according to Tin Tuc Newspaper, in addition to the auction winning amount, VPA Company also received an additional donation of 6 dong from Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, a benefactor, who put a number of items up for auction at the program to raise funds for charity. The entire amount collected in the charity auction program "Happiness is sharing" was directly handed over by VPA Company and the benefactors at the auction to representatives of charity funds: Phu Tho Provincial Red Cross Society, Association of Families of Children and People with Cerebral Palsy Vietnam (CPFAV), Tam Long Viet Fund - Vietnam Television, charity fund of Mr. Do Kim Phuc and to support and help athletes and former athletes in difficult circumstances; thereby bringing joy and timely help to individuals and families in difficult circumstances during the Spring of At Ty 2025.
