The Gulfstream G650ER, which can accommodate up to 17 people, is the private jet that billionaire Bill Gates has used to travel around the world in recent years.

According to VnExpress , billionaire Bill Gates arrived in Da Nang on a personal trip with his girlfriend on the morning of March 4 on a Gulfstream G650ER. This is a private plane manufactured by the US company Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.

The Gulfstream G650ER can accommodate up to 17 seated passengers or 6-8 sleeping passengers. The tables and chairs are customizable to accommodate any meeting or party.

The aircraft is equipped with a high-class kitchen counter, meeting the culinary needs of the owner. Convenient equipment such as a relaxing sofa with a screen via Ka-band wifi, fast global internet in the air are also strengths of this aircraft.

Bill Gates owns six private planes, including four private jets, a Cessna 208 seaplane, and a Eurocopter EC 135 helicopter. His private jet collection includes two Gulfstream G650ERs and two Bombardier Challenger 350s. The Gulfstream G650ER has a list price of nearly $70 million and is considered the Rolls Royce of business jets.

Last year, Bill Gates took 392 flights on private planes, an average of more than one flight per day.

The G650ER is Gulfstream's largest aircraft. Wayne Oedewalt, Gulfstream's Asia Pacific Vice President, once said that this is one of the most famous and best-selling business jets in the history of business aviation.

More than 500 G650ERs are in service worldwide and demand continues to grow. The G650ER can reach a top speed of 1,103 km/h and can travel more than 13,800 km without refueling, thanks to its two Rolls-Royce BR725 engines.

In addition to Bill Gates, billionaire Jeff Bezos also owns the same type of plane. Meanwhile, billionaire Elon Musk owns three Gulfstreams, one of which is the latest Gulfstream G700.

The Gulstream G650ER is also currently used by a private airline in Vietnam for luxury flight contracts.
