At the request of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), and with the consent of author David L Rodgers, the PACE Institute of Management collaborated with the MIC Publishing House to publish the book " Digital Transformation Summary: Strategy & Roadmap " in a concise, handbook format to encourage the entire population to raise awareness and pursue the goal of digital transformation.
At a panel discussion held as part of the book exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi at the National Library on October 10, 2024, leading experts in the field of digital transformation (D&C) exchanged views with readers about the content of the book.

Mr. Tran Chi Dat, Director of the Publishing House of Information and Communications, spoke at the seminar.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Tran Chi Dat, Director of the Information and Communications Publishing House, stated: Against the backdrop of the Fourth Industrial Revolution unfolding strongly on a global scale, digital transformation is not only a widespread trend, but also an inevitable and objective requirement for every country and in every field.
Mr. Tran Chi Dat stated that although the team encountered difficulties when starting the project of publishing a concise book, related to the publisher holding the copyright to the two original English books, with the support of the authors, the book was released as originally planned. Reducing the number of pages by approximately eight times has made it easier for readers to grasp and apply the information immediately.

The book was published by the Publishing House of Information and Communications.
" This book not only contributes to further raising awareness about digital transformation but also inspires a wide range of readers, including individuals, leaders of agencies, organizations, and businesses, experts working in the field of digital transformation, and readers interested in digital transformation at both strategic and implementation levels," said Mr. Tran Chi Dat.
The book is structured into two parts: Digital Transformation Strategy; and Digital Transformation Roadmap. With just under 228 pages and a small format (12x20 cm), the book condenses and refines the insights of author David L. Rodgers – one of the world's most influential minds on digital transformation – from his two famous books: The Digital Transformation Playbook (Digital Transformation Strategy, 404 pages, 15x23 cm) and Digital Transformation Roadmap (Digital Transformation Roadmap for Businesses, 484 pages, 15x23 cm).
The book provides clear strategies and roadmaps suitable for different stages of the digital transformation process; it also highlights the importance of adapting these strategies to different organizational contexts and the flexibility required during implementation.
At the seminar, translator Pham Anh Tuan also shared the advantages, difficulties, and useful content of the book for digital transformation in Vietnam in general and businesses in particular.

Overview of the seminar
Professor Ho Tu Bao, on the other hand, presented assessments and a roadmap for building digital transformation infrastructure in each stage, while also highlighting some of the difficulties and challenges facing Vietnam in the digital transformation process.
Dr. Bui Xuan Chung further emphasized the importance of businesses applying technology effectively and training employees to ensure they possess the necessary digital skills and standards – crucial factors in developing human resources for Vietnam's digital transformation.
The speakers also exchanged ideas and interacted with young people, including students, on various topics covered in the book, such as: Transforming data into assets; Mastering groundbreaking business models; Developing technology, talent, and culture; and future digital transformation roadmaps.
