Commander flees, Ukraine's fortified stronghold collapses
The Geroman channel reported that the Ukrainian fortified cluster collapsed, the industrial zone south of Avdiivka was completely under the control of Moscow forces. The main participants in the dislodgement of the enemy forces from this area were the Veterans assault brigade, which captured most of the high-rise buildings with good visibility.
However, the Russian breakthrough did not stop there. The withdrawal of the Ukrainian command put an end not only to the defense of the industrial zone but also opened the steel door for Moscow's forces to enter the inner city from the south.
Over the past 24 hours, Moscow forces have advanced 600m in the Vinogradniki resort, mopping up Ukrainian remnants in the industrial zone.
The pro-Kiev Deep State Analytical Center also admitted that the Ukrainian army is losing south of Avdiivka. Ukrainian analysts said that the loss of the industrial zone makes the situation for Kiev's forces even more difficult: "The industrial zone in the Yasinovatsky area and the Yasinovataya-2 station are almost completely lost. There is no point in playing with percentages, because we cannot keep what is left of the industrial zone. This worsens the position on the southern flank."
The Deep State also confirmed the authenticity of footage of Ukrainian soldiers fleeing the industrial zone, retreating towards the inner city, leaning against buildings to continue their resistance.
In the north, Moscow forces are strengthening their positions in Stepnoye, the RVvoenkor channel reported. Fighting continues in the area of the coke plant, with Russian forces advancing 200 meters southeast of the area.
In addition, Moscow's shock troops also attacked the Pervomaisky area in the south and Novomikhailovka in the north of Avdiivka.

The importance of the industrial zone that Russia has completely controlled in Avdiivka is assessed by the pro-Kiev channel SIMPLICIUS The Thinker as follows: this is a key high ground, Moscow's capture of it has destroyed the solid defense line of the Ukrainian armed forces southeast of Avdiivka, which is located on a hill. Ukraine only retains Tsarskaya Okhota as well as the old air defense base in the west, but these strongholds are also dying.
Accordingly, from Promka, Moscow forces could both push forward to attack the inner city and advance to seize the nearby forests. After consolidating their positions here, Moscow forces could begin an attack on the residential area a little further north, located in the plains.
And in principle, from Promka, Russia could effectively regulate artillery fire, causing Ukraine to suffer such heavy losses that it would have to leave the area, retreat into the city, or sit under a hail of 152mm artillery shells and endure.
Now the main task of Moscow's forces in this area is to expand the zone of control into the forest. If Ukraine sends large forces into the inner city of Avdiivka, they will only suffer further losses.

Russian troops continue to advance near Avdiivka
The Guardian reported that, according to a report from the Ukrainian General Staff, Kiev forces have repelled attacks on the northeast, west and southwest of Avdiivka in the past 24 hours.
Over the past day, Russia has carried out a series of air strikes to support ground operations to tighten the siege of the city on the outskirts of the capital Donetsk.
The US-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW) stressed that Moscow forces are trying to cut off Ukrainian supply lines to Avdiivka to isolate the city. However, Kiev forces continue to hold their positions and have repelled 23 enemy attacks.
According to further reporting by Euromaiden , Russian forces launched infantry attacks near the settlements of Stepove, Pervomaiske and Novokalynove to block key approaches to Avdiivka.
So far, these attacks have not achieved a breakthrough, with Ukraine still controlling the main highways leading into the city.
Similar to the Guardian, Ukrainska Pravda reported that the evening report of November 26 of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that during the day, 46 clashes took place, most of the attacks (24) were repelled by Kiev forces in the direction of Avdiivka, 6 attacks were also repelled in the direction of Kupyansk, 7 in Bakhmut and 4 in Marinka.

Conflict could spread beyond eastern and southern Ukraine
In an interview with ABC News , the commander of the Joint Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Sergei Naev, believes that Moscow's special military operation in Ukraine could once again extend beyond the country's east and south if Russia continues to increase weapons production and improve technology with the help of its allies while Kiev suffers from reduced support from its partners.
"We understand that there is a conflict over resources. The Russian Federation receives its resources with the help of its allies. And we, with the help of our partners, receive air defense systems, confronting the Russian Federation with external resources. We must understand that cutting off aid will really affect our defense capabilities. But we will fight with what we have," said Mr. Naev.
“We are preparing for this,” he stressed. “We are building defenses, laying mines, training our soldiers.”
Ukraine retaliates against unprecedented Russian UAV attack
Kyiv Independent reported that Ukraine attacked Russian targets with about 35 UAVs in just the night of November 26 in response to a mass attack by Shahed UAVs on Ukraine the day before.
Ukrainian UAVs targeted targets in Moscow and its outskirts, as well as in Tula and Smolensk. Russia claims to have shot down 24 Ukrainian UAVs.
According to Ukrainska Pravda's source, the attack is a signal to Russia that attacks on civilians in Ukraine will have consequences.

Power outage across Ukraine
The State Emergency Service reported on November 26 that severe weather conditions caused power outages in 386 settlements in 10 regions of Ukraine, including the Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions, Kyiv Independent reported.
Authorities have deployed multiple missions to restore power to affected settlements.
“In general, across the entire territory of Ukraine, nearly 500 people, as well as 131 firefighting units and other specialized equipment, are working under the State Emergency Service to eliminate the consequences of bad weather and provide assistance to the population,” the report said.
The worsening weather coincides with renewed Russian efforts to disrupt Ukraine's energy system.
Russia still intends to take the town of Kupyansk
The Guardian reported that, according to Ukrainian army spokesman Volodymyr Fitio, enemy soldiers were “trying to retake” the town of Kupyansk in the Kharkov region.
Indeed, the enemy has not given up on attacking… towards the city of Kupyansk, Mr. Fitio said. In this area, Ukraine has repelled four enemy attacks near Usenkivka and Ivanivka. Russia intends to advance to the settlement of Sinkivka to further develop its success in the attack on Kupyansk.

Kiev says Russian casualties in Ukraine have reached nearly 325,000
As of November 26, 324,830 Russian soldiers have been killed or wounded since the outbreak of the Ukraine conflict, including 1,070 in the past day, the Guardian reported.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in an operational update on Sunday, November 26, said that Moscow's military had lost 1,070 soldiers and 11 tanks and 93 UAVs.
These indicative figures provided by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not been verified by the Guardian.
According to their estimates, Russia has also lost 5,513 tanks, 10,279 armored fighting vehicles and 7,874 artillery systems since February 24, 2022.
US official says Ukraine aid bill unlikely to pass before 2024
Bloomberg reported that Mike Turner, Chairman of the US House Intelligence Committee, said on November 26 that new aid to Ukraine and Israel "will be difficult to pass before the end of this year."
"I think it's going to be very difficult to get this done by the end of the year and the obstacle right now is the White House's policy on the southern border," Mr. Turner said, as quoted by Bloomberg.
Turner's comments come amid months of internal fighting in the US Congress over government spending, including military aid to Ukraine.
Senate Republicans have threatened to block aid in early November unless there are security solutions at the southern border, leading to a standoff with Democrats.
