Strange bird flies into Nghe An people's garden is a rare species
A hornbill flew into a garden of a resident in Tan Ky commune, Nghe An. It was then handed over to the authorities to be released into the wild.

On October 8, Tan Ky Commune Police ( Nghe An ) coordinated with Tan Ky Forest Protection Department and the Commune People's Committee to release a rare hornbill bird into the wild. Photo: Van Hoa Newspaper. Previously, on the afternoon of October 7, Mr. Dinh Duc Dung (born in 1962, residing in Tan Ky commune) suddenly discovered a strange bird flying into his garden. The bird weighed more than 2 kg, had a prominent yellow beak and contrasting black and white feathers. The hornbill has the scientific name Bucerotidae. This is one of the bird species in group IB, on the list of endangered and rare forest animals that need to be strictly protected according to Decree 84/2021/ND-CP of the Government.
