Obviously, in the men's group, the attraction is greater, sponsors are more interested, so the prize money is higher. Vietnam is not out of that general trend."
Regarding the pressure of defending the National Golf Championship, golfer Nguyen Duc Son said: “This year’s course is really difficult and challenging. I have had about 5 practice sessions, experiencing many different types of terrain to have the best preparation. My goal is to compete at the highest level possible, and I hope to bring a performance that will satisfy everyone.”

Report Award Regulations
The National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025 has a total prize value of up to 1.2 billion VND, of which 1 billion VND for the men's category, 200 million VND for the women's category and will be awarded according to the Prize Regulations of the VGA Tour System.
According to the tournament rules, golfers competing as amateurs will not receive prize money. Professional golfers in the next positions will be promoted to receive the empty prize money due to the amateur golfers ranked above them.
In addition, amateur golfers who pass the cut will have their entry fee refunded (this fee is taken from the Prize Fund). In case there are not enough professional golfers to receive the prize according to the prize structure, the remaining prize money will be divided equally among the professional golfers who receive the prize.
Specifically, the male champion of the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025 will receive 180 million VND, equivalent to 18% of the total prize fund of 1 billion VND of the male category. Meanwhile, the winner of the female category will receive 60 million VND, equivalent to 30% of the total prize fund of 200 million VND of the female category.
In addition to the prize money, the three athletes with the best results in each group will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals by the Department of Sports and Physical Training.
