According to research, the owner of the “viral” video is Mr. Lam Lam (born 1990, HCMC). Mr. Lam is the designer and the person who came up with the idea and constructed this special wedding gate.

Talking to VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Lam said that this is the wedding gate at the bride's residence. The bride's father is a tycoon in Bac Lieu, famous in the business field.

The bride and groom are quite young but have a good sense of aesthetics. Their wedding was held on December 27th.

Three months ago, the bride's mother from Bac Lieu came to Ho Chi Minh City to invite Mr. Lam to design the wedding gate and ancestral ceremony. With the trust of the bride's family, he came up with the idea and took charge of the entire construction.

“It’s like a blind bag that is only opened at the last minute, when the work is almost finished the groom’s family can imagine everything. The day I brought three 6-ton trucks carrying the furniture home, the bride’s parents were surprised, still not knowing what had happened. After the wedding gate was completed, they were very happy and satisfied,” said Mr. Lam.

Mr. Lam came up with the idea and completed the construction within 3 months. 4 days before the wedding, he had the workers assemble and complete everything.

The wedding gate was made with nearly 3,000 selected and processed scallop shells. The dragon body was made of foam and processed with imitation plaster technique, creating authenticity and ensuring sturdiness. The phoenix body was made of real feathers and was crafted from foam. Thanks to that, the dragon and phoenix look like two giant statues.

In addition, the dragon and phoenix are also equipped with internal motors to move.

“I studied art and design so I am quite aesthetic. From the colors to the details, I do it as meticulously as possible,” Mr. Lam shared.

Every detail is meticulously designed.

According to the disclosure, the total cost for this magnificent wedding gate is 580 million VND. Specifically, the wedding gate costs 350 million VND and the ancestral area is designed for 230 million VND.

Mr. Lam said that he rarely undertakes to build wedding gates or wedding parties. However, when he does, he will pay attention to every detail to create valuable works of art.

“Even though it is a service, I still consider this a meaningful gift to send my best wishes to the bride and groom. The bride’s family is very pleased with this work, and the guests were also surprised by its beauty,” said Mr. Lam.
