Proactively build pilot models for digital transformation

The Provincial Digital Transformation Center monitors and intelligently operates 3 main pillars: digital government (5 groups of indicators), digital economy (6 groups of indicators) and digital society (7 groups of indicators); supports the industry and trade information system, synchronously deploys data on cadres and civil servants to the national database of cadres and civil servants, provides professional advice, orients information in the education sector, participates in contributing professional opinions to the construction of a digital agricultural platform, participates in implementing integrations from the LGSP provincial data interconnection axis with the national database on population, deploys training on cashless payments for students...

The Cao Lanh City Smart Operations Center will be piloted from December 12, 2021 to December 12, 2022, chaired by the Office of the People's Council and the City People's Committee. The center will pilot 10 areas, including 5 systems providing real-time data at the center. The city is urgently implementing documents and procedures related to bidding for service rental, to soon put the center into official operation. In implementing the center, the city closely follows the spirit of the Resolution on Digital Transformation of the Provincial Party Committee; the Digital Transformation Project of Dong Thap province for the period 2021-2025 and the city's digital transformation programs and plans...

In the first months of 2023, the Hong Ngu City Smart City Operation Center organized 10 training courses with the participation of more than 200 officials; coordinated with Viettel Dong Thap to organize a conference to update knowledge on digital transformation for leaders of departments, branches, organizations, and People's Committees of communes and wards of the city. In 2021 and 2022, the Hong Ngu City People's Committee invested more than 9 billion VND to renovate and purchase equipment for the center (about 99% of the project progress has been achieved, expected to be accepted in June 2023). Currently, the center has 110 cameras operating stably, recording more than 100,000 violations by people...

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thien Nghia emphasized that digital transformation is one of the province's breakthrough tasks, and sectors and localities must actively implement it to contribute to promoting socio-economic development. The whole province is determined to make efforts to participate in digital transformation and has achieved remarkable initial results, including the Provincial Digital Transformation Center, the Smart Operation Center of Cao Lanh City and Hong Ngu City. These three units need to closely coordinate with related sectors to promote efficiency, especially data integration. Digital transformation must aim to better serve the people, create strong changes in all fields, and create motivation for the province to rise up. Sectors, localities, and units need to continuously update technology, build pilot digital transformation models to soon shape and create unity in implementation.
