If we do a good job of educating and training ethnic minority children, it will create a good, solid foundation for the implementation of other tasks, the President said, emphasizing that for remote areas and ethnic minority children, education and training is the best way to escape poverty, rise up to master their destiny, master their lives in the future. Doing a good job of education and training also contributes to creating a foundation for maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area; at the same time, creating human resources for the political system, contributing to the socio-economic development of mountainous, remote and isolated areas.
Paying attention to the characteristics of students in ethnic minority areas, the President requested that schools and teachers pay great attention to innovating teaching methods; must be persistent, tenacious, and confident, and have pedagogical methods suitable for each class, each age group, even within each class, for each student.
"Each student here is a unique and creative individual. The task of teachers is to develop that unique and creative individuality in each student, so that each student can discover his or her true abilities, talents and goals in life to strive for and practice," said the President. The President suggested that schools and local authorities pay attention to creating an environment where students can both study and practice. In addition to the study programs, there should be time for students to work, play and entertain. From there, students will have a clearer and more complete understanding of their learning tasks and their comprehensive development in terms of qualities, knowledge, skills, sense of responsibility and clearly define their goals in the future.
Students must consider Gia Lai Ethnic Boarding School as their home; always respect and be grateful to the teachers, staff and workers in the school who have given them memorable time studying and training. Continuing the fine tradition of previous generations of students, today's students when leaving this school will become active citizens who contribute a lot to the development of the locality, the Central Highlands and the whole country, the President wishes.

Thereby, students have more opportunities to play, participate in cultural and artistic activities, and engage in social activities, thereby developing comprehensively, becoming more attached to their homeland, loving and promoting more the national cultural identity.
