Canh Vinh commune was established on the basis of merging Canh Vinh, Canh Hien and Canh Hiep communes with a natural area of 258.72 km², a population of 16,765 people, of which 2,562 are ethnic minorities, accounting for 15.3% of the total population of the commune. The population structure is diverse with many different ethnic groups such as Kinh, Cham H'Roi, Ba Na.

In the 2025-2030 term, the local economy will maintain a fairly good growth rate, the economic structure will shift positively, and people's lives will gradually improve. In 2025, the total value of local products is estimated at VND 8,893 billion, with an average annual growth rate of 10.24%. The economic structure will shift in a positive direction, by 2025 the proportion of agriculture, forestry and fishery will account for 15.49%, industry - construction 72.49%, trade - services 12.01%. Retail sales of goods and consumer services are estimated at VND 1,119 billion, an average increase of 11.15% per year. Total budget revenue in the area for 5 years is estimated at VND 56.46 billion. Agriculture will maintain a fairly good growth rate; the internal production structure of the industry will shift towards promoting local advantages, linked to market demand.

Cultural and social development in the area has always been focused on and invested in, thereby contributing to improving the quality of life, preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of the ethnic groups in the commune. In the 2025-2030 term, Canh Vinh commune sets a target of striving for a growth rate of local product value of 33.9%; retail sales of goods and services of 2,112 billion VND; state budget revenue in the area of 24,700 million VND. By 2030, Canh Vinh commune strives to meet advanced new rural standards and have no poor households; the rate of population participating in health insurance is 100%.

To achieve the set goals, the Canh Vinh Commune Party Committee has set out 06 key tasks and 03 breakthroughs. In particular, focusing on implementing well the planning and planning management, developing urban and rural spaces in a modern, green and smart direction. Mobilizing and effectively using all resources to develop synchronous socio-economic infrastructure; developing industrial parks in the direction of green, clean and modern technology, proactively attracting and selecting high-quality investors. Along with that, promoting the application of science and technology, digital transformation, green transformation and administrative reform, considering this a breakthrough to improve the quality of state management, improve the investment and business environment and increase local competitiveness.

Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that Canh Vinh has the advantage of being very close to the administrative center of the province and especially has the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial - Urban - Service Park with an area of 1,425 hectares, 05 industrial clusters with an area of 375 hectares; is a traffic hub connecting the economic zones in the South of the province with the Central Coast via National Highway 19C and the connecting route of National Highway 19 - Becamex Industrial Park - Quy Nhon Port. Therefore, Canh Vinh is planned to be a key commune for industrial development of the province.

The 2025-2030 term is the first term after the reorganization, opening up many great opportunities and chances but also posing many difficulties and challenges for Canh Vinh commune. In order to achieve and exceed the set targets and tasks, he suggested that the Party Committee, Government and People of Canh Vinh commune need to change their thinking and perception of the role and responsibility of the commune level in the current period. The entire political system must be dynamic, innovate leadership, direction and operation thinking, and strongly shift from the "management and control" administration to the "creative, serving and innovative" administration. It is necessary to thoroughly grasp the spirit of working quickly, "lightning fast" but must be accurate and effective.

In addition, focus on reviewing the quantity, professional qualifications, and work history of the staff to arrange "the right person, the right job", promoting the capacity and strengths of each staff. Focus on training and fostering to improve the qualifications of commune-level staff to meet current job requirements.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee especially emphasized that Canh Vinh needs to urgently complete the planning of communes and functional subdivisions, in sync with the previous district and provincial planning. He noted that planning is the "compass" guiding the development of the commune, and must reasonably arrange land funds for industry, services, trade, cultural and social institutions; ensure harmonious development between the economy and sustainable environmental protection. Along with that, promote digital transformation, apply information technology in the implementation of public administration, especially the activities of the Public Administration Service Center.

Pay attention to and focus on cultural development, social security and poverty reduction. Take comprehensive care of the fields of education, health, culture and sports. Improve the quality of health care for the people and promote the national cultural identity. Strengthen the construction of a national defense posture associated with a solid people's security posture. Closely link socio-economic development with the consolidation and enhancement of national defense and security.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Canh Vinh Commune Party Committee to strengthen the building of a clean, strong, united and unified Party Committee and political system; innovate and improve the quality of Party cell activities; and promote the role and responsibility of the leader.

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and key positions of the commune for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Commune Party Executive Committee consists of 28 comrades; Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee./.
