Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee requested to resolve many difficulties of enterprises

There were 5 enterprises attending the meeting. These enterprises raised many problems that need to be promptly resolved by the Provincial People's Committee, specifically:

BOO Phu Ninh Water Plant Joint Stock Company proposed that the People's Committee of Quang Nam province issued Official Dispatch No. 5708/UBND-KTN dated July 31, 2024, agreeing that BOO Phu Ninh Joint Stock Company is the sole water supplier in Tam Thang Industrial Park (IP), however, the enterprise has not yet been resolved to be able to invest in water supply to the entire Tam Thang IP according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.

The company proposed that the provincial leaders pay attention and direct the implementation of the next steps so that the advisory agency agrees to license the remaining routes into Tam Thang Industrial Park.

591 Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company - the investor of Dong Phu Market Quarter Project (Que Son District) said that the project is behind schedule and has been extended by the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch 3343/UBND-KTN dated May 13, 2024 (until the end of September 2025), due to difficulties in site clearance.

The company recommends that the competent authority issue a land use right certificate corresponding to the amount of land use fee the company has paid to have assets to secure loans from credit institutions, thereby having a financial source to fulfill tax obligations and carry out the remaining part of the project. In addition, the company recommends that the local government soon set the price and approve the compensation plan, support resettlement of the remaining part so that the company can complete the project.

Phu Hao Tien Phuoc Company Limited (Tai Da Industrial Park, Tien Phong Commune, Tien Phuoc) requested approval of the investment policy for the Phu Hao Tien Phuoc Forestry Processing Factory Project. The company has made investments, worked with the Tien Phuoc District People's Committee, and advanced more than 1.4 billion VND for site clearance. The company has requested the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Planning and Investment to consider and guide the company to complete the procedures and documents for project investment approval.

Quang Xua Trading Joint Stock Company (Quang Xua Company) proposed that due to difficulties after the pandemic, the company has not been able to repay the debt as committed, and has repeatedly requested exemption/reduction of overdue interest and repayment period toACB Bank, the total loan amount of the bank as of July 10, 2024 is more than 23.8 billion VND, and must auction assets to repay the debt according to the judgment of Hiep Duc District People's Court. The company proposed that the provincial leaders postpone the auction of assets, continue to restructure the debt or exempt/reduce overdue interest, exempt penalty interest, and at the same time give the company more time to execute the judgment to repay the debt.

At the meeting with enterprises, after the provincial departments and branches and related localities gave their opinions, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung requested that the departments, branches and localities, based on the provisions of the law, support the resolution for enterprises. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the departments and branches to advise the Provincial People's Committee on the direction of resolution. "It is necessary to give a decisive answer to enterprises, if it is possible, say yes, if it is not, say no, and directly address the difficult areas to resolve the recommendations once and for all, not to let them drag on" - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung emphasized.
